Newer colorways on retro Air Jordan models are met with mixed reactions from collectors. The Air Jordan 3 Stealth is universally slept on!
The shoe gets its name from the colorway and are one of the only non-original 3s that actually look good to me. To put things in perspective, while I eventually sold off my Sport Blue and Infrared 3s, I kept these. White laces throw these off a bit, but a quick lace swap to black really helps bring out the look of this shoe.
These can be paired up with some red and grey clothes, but a mostly dark outfit is easier to pull together. Here, I’m sporting a Supreme crewneck with a grey elongated tee underneath and some black skinny jeans from H&M. I recommend sticking to a black outfit if you’re trying to keep it simple and easy here.
How Are The Materials?
The materials used on these are not bad! The suede is nice and soft if not a tad cheap feeling. The mudguard even has a bit of snakeskin-like texturing to it. These also feature a suede tongue. Overall, the materials used are up to par with the price, as these are from before AJ3s cost over $200. The quality is basically what I would expect from a 2011 Jordan Brand release.
How Do They Fit?
The Air Jordan 3 Stealth fits true to size and is very comfortable. They’re stiff at first, so I do not recommend sizing down. The Air Jordan 3 is one of the more comfy Jordan models, and I know I’ll be able to wear them without punishing my pinky toes! I definitely check for any new 3 that drops for consideration as an addition to my collection.
